The STAR GATE project

The first long-term use of remote viewing as a technique, the “Star Gate Project”, is the largest funded program in the history of parapsychological research. The project received approximately $ 20 million in funding over a period of more than 20 years (1972 to 1995).

Researchers from the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) and later from Science Applications International Cooperation (SAIC) in collaboration with various US intelligence agencies participated in this program.
